SUMMARY

Sales Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, the functional leadership of all of the in-house sales activities of the business. This position reports directly to Director of Operations & Sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet the business needs.

  • Generate new accounts while building business with existing accounts. 
  • Ability to prospect new business through cold calls, leads and business relationships.
  • Perform administrative sales support duties including: answering phones, greeting customers and performing general office duties.
  • Work with staff to ensure all sales/order entry paperwork is completed properly within designated time.
  • Assign sales leads and update lead log.
  • Interface with purchasing department on order issues to ensure they are quickly corrected.
  • Assist with preparing sales forecasts and other various sales reports.
  • Accompany sales team to medical trade shows as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Punctual with the ability to managing ones own time and the time of others.

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Professional appearance, business attire.
  • Experience within the skincare, beauty or spa industry preferred.
  • Professional appearance, business attire mandatory.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Licensed Esthetician in the State of California preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing a sale.
  • Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
  • Is computer literate and has experience with sales database tracking programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills; including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups.
  • Must be a self-starter, dependable and have an outgoing personality.
  • Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products.  This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques. 
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for products and services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. 
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
