SUMMARY

The Corporate Sales Coordinator is primarily responsible for prospecting, building, and maintaining strong client relationships within a given geographical area.  This position is responsible for successfully selling the company’s products and classes in the specified geographical area to estheticians, physicians or cosmetologists specializing in skincare.  Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
  2. Presenting to various levels of organizations, including executive levels.
  3. Selling and leading negotiations with estheticians, physicians or cosmetologists specializing in skincare at their offices, by telephone, by fax, by mail, or at trade events.

Using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in using and retailing the products resulting in revenue generation.  In addition, the position requires input and participation in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products.  Individuals need to maintain a strong knowledge of skincare trends/innovations and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management in a timely and consistent manner.  75% of the function of this position will be to establish new accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.   Educational commitment and self study to learn about skincare and the skincare industry.

  • Commitment to attend and represent DermaQuest Skin Therapy and its products at all educational seminars and or training classes located in the specified region or major geographical area.
  • Commitment to a self study program including but not limited to the training manual, scripts, product information sheets, policies and procedural guidelines as provided by DermaQuest Skin Therapy.

2.  Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner by:

  • Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on products and services.
  • Making presentations to clients.
  • Maintaining up-to-date awareness of activities and industry trends including new product launches, educational seminars and training classes or trade events.
  • Making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
  • Acting to close deals & finalize contacts.
  • Meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Following all protocols and use of materials distributed by the corporate office thus ensuring continuity of activity and excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining a database of all prospects and or established accounts.

75% of the function of this position is to establish new accounts.

3.  Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by:

  • Researching, developing/maintaining long and short range sales as well as marketing plans.
  • Producing regular reports and final sales and pipeline plans for the Director of Operations and Sales approval.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans.

4.  Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of the DermaQuest Skin Therapy Sales Team, the DermaQuest Skin Therapy Corporate Team and its customers in the specified region or major geographical area.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  1. A bachelors degree.
  2. 2 years of sales experience, preferably with a skin care company, selling skin care products within the skin care, spa, salon and medispa industries and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Proven track record in sales and strategic account positioning.
  4. Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing a sale.
  5. Experience managing large territories and state-of-the-art product offerings.
  6. Possession of strong organizational skills.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.  Including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups.
  8. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  9. Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current esthetic license or 4 years experience in the skin care sales industry.
